Buena Vista Heritage

VisitBV has partnered with Buena Vista Heritage to help our readers learn about the amazing stories that have lead BV from it’s founding in 1879 to the present day.  Buena Vista Heritage is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that exists to preserve and share the history of Buena Vista and Chaffee County for the education and enjoyment of the public. Our projects include the restoration and operation of the Buena Vista Heritage Museum, the Turner Farm, St. Elmo Schoolhouse and the Buena Vista Depot.  Visit us online at, at the Heritage Museum on East Main Street, Buena Vista and at the Historic Buena Vista Train Depot on the Northwest corner of Hwy. 24/285 and Main Street in Buena Vista Colorado.  See you there!
